I found last year it seemed to go on forever, like summer holidays when you are a kid.So I like your idea, and I love your blankets. Yes I remember lusting after that grey one myself, good for you for getting it in the sale despite all that was going on. I am sure that you are glad you did. Your own blanket will be gorgeous when it is done, the colours are so fresh and vibrant! The white coverlet is really beautiful. I have one myself which is Victorian, but it is in need of repair.
