We were up at 5am in the House of NKK, eating bacon sandwiches and sipping tea. We would have had champagne but I had to drag myself away from the television at some point and go to work. Not before the ceremony, the TWO kisses on the balcony and the commentary on the dress. Sigh. C.x |

Unfortunately for me, sleep beat patriotism but I made up for it by watching the highlights at work and the moment I get home I'll have strawberries and champagne (well white wine) switch the telly on and wave my Union Jack tea towel.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't consider myself a royalist at all...and I surprised myself by wanting to watch the wedding. However, I loved it...the pageantry, the frocks, the whole thing. There's nothing quite like a royal do!!! xx
